My 280e has one rear brake binding a little. Not enough to stop driving
but it`s getting warm. What are the likely causes for one brake to bind
and what ways are there of fixing it?

Usually it`s rust or crud that is built up in the caliper sliding
hardware. Disassembling and cleaning and lubricating and reassembling
may fix it.
On rare occasions this can also be caused by hydraulic issues like a
collapsed hose. Usually this would be pretty severe though...
Good Luck,
