I have an old one made by Gunson. It is a plastic bottle with a tube to the

fluid reservoir via a choice of caps, and another tube to the spare tyre.

The instructions are pretty insistent that you mustn`t exceed 20 (I think)

psi.

It works, but it is VITAL that there are no leaks in the fluid side of the

contraption, otherwise brake fluid sprays out under pressure.

I did it myself. If you want to do it, I would recommended the

following components:

1. 2 liter garden sprayer: Hudson, model 60136, UPC code 029925

601369, Lowes SCU code 126 722. Ask for Hudson Rose & Garden model

60136 (white) or 60166 (colors). Call 1-800-9-SPRAYER for the name of

a dealer near you.

2. Tygon Braid-Reinforced Food and Dairy PVC Tubing 1/4"ID 3/8"OD

3. ABS-Case Gauge ±2% Mid-Scale Accuracy 1-1/2" Round Dial, 1/8" NPT

Male Center Back, 0-15 Psi $8.90 Each

4. Brake Reservoir Cap

5. 1 tire valve from WalMart or same store.

6. One roll of Teflon tape

7. 2 hose clamps.

These are few images, which I made, when Bleeder was ready to go:

Good luck!

Igor.

Hello,

1988 Wagon 300 TE w/ABS

This weekend I changed all 4 caliperss, new Pads, new Rotors.

I tried bleeding the system and I get nothing but air.

I found a loose brake line to a front caliper and tigntened it.

I still get no pedal while trying to pump and bleed.

Today, I put in a new Master Cylinder and filled the brake lines from the

master cylinder end before connecting the master cylinder, I used a fluid

injector.

Hooked up the master cylinder and tried to bleed the system. The brake

fluid I had loaded the system with pumped through and now all I have is air.

I cannot find any leaks. This is the first ABS system I have worked on and

do not know if that is causing me difficulties or not.

Has anyone had similiar difficulties with a `88 or so 300 series with ABS?

Les

Whilst Sarah was having a pretty bad week over on Later, there wasn’t much in terms of OMGness going on in the Omnibus.

Ravi was weak and kittenish (nice scar), Anita underage drank and vommed over Leila, Newt is still missing, the Roy elders have buggered off to Middlesbrough,Tom was a little shit and kicked Gilly in his gillies, Mal and Mercy were as pikey as usual, Sasha looked glam and was later revealed to have shagged both Josh and bug eyed student twat Dave (keeping regrettable ONS a secret FAIL) and The Loft was finally reopened under the inept and screechy management of Calvin, Sasha, Spencer, Mercy and Malachy.

Ho hum. Nothing that interesting then. So at least Calvin is a better dancer than club manager. A better hot dancer than club manager. Yep. Kinda hot. So hot infact that we thought it might be nice to relive a bit of it.

Yep. Happy now.
