The orange brake light on the instrument panel that signifies worn front

brake pads has started coming on, not full time but intermittently. I

assume it`s time to renew the pads. But the car is not scheduled for its

next regular maintenance until May. How long can I get away with driving

with that light coming on? I would prefer to get everything don e at

once.

It all depends on if you want to replace your rotors, too.

I guess its common sense....If the brake light comes on its by far time

to do the brakes regardles of when the next inspection is!

But then again your the one driving the automobile your the only one

who knows.

Title: Custom Mercedes in Black

This week I faced the fun challenge of photographing a black custom Mercedes in my studio.  As with all black cars, dealing with the many reflections was key to success.

 Mercedes-Automobile-Photography-Phoenix

It is always worth the effort as I really enjoy photographing cars.  From classic hotrods to amazing exotic cars, each presents their own set of challenges for the photographer.  Finding the perfect angles to show off the curves of a fender, or just the right type  light to bring out details hidden in shadows are just a few of the problems I enjoy solving.

I’ve got another great car coming into the studio soon that will provide the opportunity to use some new techniques.

Title: Fireball's Cool Designs of the Week!
Date: Wed, 23 Sep 2009 09:41:40 +0000
Author: Fireball Tim

What is going on in this world? Ideas are merging, blending, taking shape, radically departing but staying the same. And that’s our world. Change.

Many people fear change. Maybe because it’s unknown. The question is, “What if you DID know the answer?” To everything? Would life be the same? Would you even be interested? Change is good. It keeps us on our toes, makes life adventurous, and forces us to have faith in things unseen.

Fortunately for you, you get to SEE this week’s designs. Some are wicked cool, some way not. But change is in the air, therefore, this week’s theme. Entitled?

CHANGE!…… DANGIT!

1. THE AUDI E- TRON ELECTRIC

Audi_E_tron_R8

Remember the Audi in “IRobot?” How could you not? It was in every DANG scene of the movie. Along with Will Smith’s beefy bod. (I had enough of that after the first scene… whatever) Well, Audi has taken their R8 and made it sweeter. Electric. And… Red. And red is good. Electric? Yea, that’s cool, but RED is cooler. Just think of RED things. Cherries. Megan Fox’s Lips. A stubbed toe. Ok,… maybe not the last one. But red is cool, dangit. (Check out the AutoDissection on the R8 here.)
